Bonus code · Adult readers

What a bonus code actually is, and what it is not.

A bonus code on a regulated skill-game platform is a small marketing credit, not a payout. Read the terms before you type it in. This page reads the small print once, in plain English.

Chapter 01 · What a bonus code is

A small credit, not a payout.

Bonus codes unlock a small marketing credit applied to your account balance. They do not pay out directly. They are usually tied to a deposit, a table minimum, or a time window.

Type 01

Deposit match

Match a percentage of your first deposit, often 50 to 100 percent, up to a cap. Wagering requirements usually apply before any withdrawal.

Type 02

Free play

A small number of free rounds or free entry into a tournament. No deposit required, but the credit is non-withdrawable until conditions are met.

Type 03

Referral credit

A credit applied when a new player signs up through your referral link. Read the operators referral terms for the exact rate and cap.

Chapter 02 · The small print

Read the wagering requirement, the expiry, and the table minimum.

Three lines in the bonus terms decide whether a code is worth typing. The rest is decoration.

Line 1

Wagering requirement

How many times the bonus must be wagered before withdrawal. 20x is the industry norm; higher than 30x is a red flag for the bonus terms.

Line 2

Expiry

How long the bonus is valid. Most credits expire inside 7 to 30 days. Unused credits are forfeited on expiry.

Line 3

Table minimum

The minimum stake at which the bonus can be wagered. Higher minimums mean the bonus is harder to clear.

Line 4

Withdrawal cap

Some operators cap the amount withdrawable from a bonus. The cap is published; read it before you commit.
